The SápmiDem project participated in the kick-off event arranged by Nordforsk in Stockholm on March 4 and 5, 2025.
The event was directed to all the projects funded by NordForsk’s Green Transition initiative. During the two days, the projects introduced their main focus and aimed contributions, ranging from energy-efficient food production to Sámi democratic engagement in the energy transition. These presentations sparked important discussions on synergies between different projects and topics.
The event also provided a networking space for early-career researchers, where PhD candidates and postdocs shared their experiences and expectations.
